Anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian Flag

Today, the 25th of September 2021, marks the 46th anniversary of the first time that the Franco-Ontarian was flown, and this year marks the 44th anniversary of its official adoption as the communities flag by the Association canadienne-française de l’Ontario.

The flag itself was designed by Gaétan Gervais, who at the time was a professor at Laurentian University, and a group of students. It was first flown at the University of Sudbury.
