Canada’s 12th and Newest School of Architecture Opens at Laurentian

On June 22nd 2021, Laurentian University’s McEwen School of Architecture (MSoA) [announced] that the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB)/Conseil Canadien de Certification en Architecture (CCCA) has granted the professional Master of Architecture Program ‘Initial Accreditation’ for a term commencing July 1, 2021, making McEwen School of Architecture the twelfth and newest fully accredited school of Architecture in the country.

Located in Sudbury, Ontario, this school will offer a unique approach to the field, drawing on Francophone, Indigenous, and Anglophone perspectives in order to provide a tri-cultural, cooperative education program that is distinctly representative of Northern Ontario.
