Canada’s Translation Bureau Announces a Partnership with Glendon Campus 

Canada’s Translation Bureau and York University’s Glendon Campus have signed a partnership agreement. According to this agreement, the Translation Bureau will provide educational support for Glendon’s Master of Conference Interpretation (MCI) program to help develop Canada’s conference interpreter workforce. This partnership will give Glendon an advantage, which is already one of only two higher learning institutions in Canada to offer a master’s program in interpretation. Along with this, the partnership will develop the skills of Canada’s future young interpreters. The Translation bureau will offer training sessions and will provide opportunities for students to gain access to conference interpretation work, such as internships. This will allow Glendon students to acquire practical experience in line with their field of study.
