Studying in a True Bilingual and Multicultural Environment

Franco-Ontarians come from all around the world, forming a diverse and dynamic Francophonie of half a million people. Being a part of this community is a unique experience that greatly benefits students. The province is very multicultural and there is a vast combination of accents, cultures, traditions and cuisines.  In Ontario, students have the advantage of studying in French or in a bilingual format, and can then improve their level of English all while studying in the language in which they are the most comfortable. There are many opportunities, whether it be in the immersion programs on campus, bilingual certificates, or even bilingual or trilingual degrees.  Ontario also offers a large number of opportunities for graduates, since Ontario diplomas are recognized internationally. As a result, graduates have the option of staying in Canada or continuing their adventure in another country if they wish. As a Francophone community ecosystem, Ontario offers many opportunities for experiential learning and interdisciplinary approaches. As such, Francophone and bilingual institutions play important roles in their communities and develop innovative programs adapted to the needs of the community.
