The Job Market is Hot for New Graduates in the Tech Sector in Ontario

July 2021 -- According to the recent Scoring Tech Talent report, released by the American corporation CBRE, Toronto sits admirably in 4th place on the scale of top tech markets in North America. With a whopping 81,200 jobs added in the sector since 2016, the city of Toronto holds the highest ranking of Canadian cities, and even stands higher than the major American hubs of Los Angeles and New York City. This ranking reiterates that the technology sector is a driving force in the Canadian economy, especially in Ontario, and that a post-secondary education in the field could open many doors to a career in an in-demand industry that plays a vital role in the lives of millions. Other Ontarian cities that scored highly in the report were Ottawa, sitting in 10th place on the top tech markets in North American, and London, Ontario, which is in the top ten of up and coming tech markets with a 67% growth in tech employment in the past five years. No Canadian cities outside of Ontario have made the top 10.
